Support S. 1878
2 February 2005
Dear Sens. Durbin & Obama:
I am 25 and have been following this issue for the last 11 months. I have studies it and read all six plans that are in Congress. I have been supporting Sen. Lindsey Graham's plan (S. 1878) as the solution to our Social Security problem. It is the most thoroughly comprohensive, well thought out and intelligent plan to reform the system. I trust Sen. Graham with this issue.
I like the reform idea. Personal accounts would be a good idea because they modernize the system by creating an option for workers my age to invest. This will also help part-time and temporary workers who do not have empoloyer-based retirement plans.
There is a problem but not a crisis. If we wait there will be a crisis.
