Hayden's Confirmation

I just saw that You voted for Gen. hayden to be the next CIA director (Vote 160). While I am not thrilled by it; still being uncomfortable I trust that your decision was made on hard facts. I know you had said in the passed that Hayden may not be a good idea for the position. However, now we shall see.

I am happy that you did not announce you vote through a press release on this nomination. I most of the time prefer this route becaue it causes less trouble. The media most times does not bother to print vote tallies, so unless people look them up we never know how you voted. I thank you for your judiciousness in this process.
