Correspondence

Last Saturday I went down to check my mail and all I had revieved was a long white envelope from the United States Senate. This is usually no big deal for me because I write to many Senators, and this day was no different in recieving a response. However, once I saw the frank on the envelope my attitude vhanged. I recognized the signature of Senator Lindsey Graham.

I realize that Senators usually do not respond to individuals from out of state. I live in Chicago, IL and not South Carolina. The response surprised me for this reason. It was a three page response outlining his position on the Judicial Compromise and the Constitutional Option.

Needless to say I was trhilled beyond belief and the same response on Friday when I recieved the thank you note for the birthday wishes I sent along.

I thank Senator Graham for his responses because I realize he is very busy. I am very appreciative of the correspondance.
